Witness Testimony

"I spotted what i thought was a satellite, as i was looking at venus in the western night sky, (i think it was venus) during my evening walk. i stopped to get my bearings and to make sure what i was looking at was, indeed, moving. after i stopped to watch, i saw a light moving across the sky, like a typical satellite would. it was not as bright as the space station, which is not visible from frankfort, ky tonight. as i watched, another light appeared from the same direction. as i continued to watch, yet another one appeared. as i stood and watched, at least 6 of these lights appeared, one after another, exactly the same distance apart. they continued on in a straight line from west to east. finally, they stopped coming. but i don't know if there were more before i could see them. i think i saw at least 6. so i continued on my walk and a few minutes later, i saw another light, from the same area, and then another followed it. this happened at least three times. it was like there were 3 pairs. there may have been more, but i was walking in my neighborhood and i could not view that spot in the sky the whole time. i did try to take a picture but they seemed really distant and the photo did not turn out very well. possibly, a military exercise? only, what i saw did not have any blinking lights. also, there was no noise. they looked like stars moving, or satellites. but, do groups of satellites move in unison?
