Witness Testimony

"This sighting occurred on monday, april 1, 2019, around 8:16 pm on route one in madison, ct. as i was driving, i saw a bright white light in the sky and initially thought it was a street lamp in the distance. as i got closer, i realized that the light was too high up in the sky to be a street lamp. i continued to watch it, while driving. i thought maybe it was an airplane or even a helicopter. however, it was too stationary to be either one. it could have been about airplane altitude. i then noticed that it began to flash rotating red lights. i continued to watch it. as i got closer to an area where there were stores, i wondered if anyone else was seeing this. the next thing it did was to dim and then brighten again. finally, it just dimmed out and i couldn’t see it anymore. i didn’t feel afraid looking at this object. has anyone else seen anything like this?
